Authorities say a Lacey Township man’s dog helped fend off a would-be burglar on Sun, March 12.
The man told police he was showering when his dog started barking. When he went to investigate, the man found an intruder had entered his home through an unlocked side door.
The dog soon bit the intruder’s right forearm, causing it to bleed. The man then fled the scene on foot.
Authorities say it didn’t appear that anything was stolen in in the incident, which remains under investigation by the Lacey Township Detective Bureau.
