Doctor says early aggressive treatments can negatively affect health
All those tests you insist on getting at your doctor’s office could be the cause of some of your problems. Dr. H. Gilbert Welch will be on Radio Times this morning to talk about research from Darmouth, which shows preventative treatments for cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes and sometimes cancer can lead to a more expensive and less healthy path of wellness.
Welch will talk with host Marty Moss-Coane about the overdiagnoses that can lead to long term medical care and expenses.
Listen live at 11 a.m. on 91FM.
