Delaware woman charged with killing her husband
A 60-year-old woman faces charges she shot her husband to death at their home in New Castle County earlier this month.
59-year-old Nino Sciglitano was found dead the afternoon of September 16th at his home on Beau Tree Drive in north Wilmington. County Police say he had been shot in the head. The victim’s wife, 60-year-old Donna Sciglitano was also discovered in the home suffering from an apparent overdose. She was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
Since the shooting death, detectives gathered information which indicates that Donna Sciglitano was responsible for her husband’s shooting death. She was charged Tuesday night with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony.
Ms. Sciglitano is being held without bail at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institute.
