The numbers are out and Delaware’s unemployment rate is a tick lower from July.

August’s unemployment rate stands at 7.3 percent, down from 7.4 percent in July. According to Delaware’s Dept. of Labor, 32,100 Delawareans were unemployed last month, the same number as in Aug. 2012.

However, state employment trends show there are currently 100 more jobs in the state than in July and 7,300 more jobs compared to last year.

Delaware’s jobless numbers are now on par with the country.
