Delaware Stuff the Bus campaign nets 11 tons of food donations

The Food Bank of Delaware says the recent DART First State Stuff the Bus donation drive collected 11.2 tons of food for needy families and individuals in the First State.

Delawareans were encouraged to bring their donations to select locations during the past week.  Contributions filled three, 30-foot buses.  Schools, businesses and organizations stepped up as well as individual contributors.  The Food Bank of Delaware works with more than 440 partner-agencies to serve Delawareans in need, and is continuing to host donation drives through the holiday season.  CLICK HERE to find out more.
