Delaware state parks are free for one more day

This extra day in the Leap Year also provides Delawareans with one more opportunity to visit a state park free of charge.

Seasonal admission fees will resume Thursday, March 1st.  The fee season lasts until November 30th.  Daily vehicle fees for Delaware residents are $3.00 for inland parks, $4.00 at ocean parks, unchanged from a year ago.  Out-of-state visitors pay more.  Annual park passes are also available, starting at $27.00 for Delawareans.  Special lifetime passes are available for senior citizens at $55.  For more information on Delaware State Parks, call 1-302-739-9220.
