Delaware prepares for Irene

Delaware is bracing for heavy rains, high winds and possible flooding as Hurricane Irene makes its way to the coast.

Delmarva Power says it prepares year-round for this type of situation.  Its parent company, Pepco Holdings, has already made arrangements to have workers from other states on standby if necessary.

Check www.preparede.org for advice about how to prepare for the storm.
