Delaware mother accused of poisoning son’s sandwich with Oxycodone

State Police say a Lewes woman put crushed Oxycodone into her son’s peanut butter sandwich so she could pass drug tests.

33-year-old Joanna Dize is facing a host of charges including distribution of Oxycodone to a minor, reckless endangering, and unlawfully administering drugs.  Police say Dize was apparently using her son’s urine to pass a test at Compassionate Pain Management.

Dize was arrested on Monday and released after posting $11,000 secured bond.  The 11-year-old victim and two other siblings are now in the custody of the Division of Family Services.
