Delaware High School sports enters big week

This is a big week for High School sports in Delaware.

The 2010 DIAA State Soccer tournament heads into the semifinals on Tuesday and the finals on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the 2010 Division 1 Football tournament starts up this weekend and runs through the next 3 weekends.

There are two new teams making their debut this year. St. George’s Votech and Appoquinimink are seeded for the first time. The Appoqunimink appearance means both Middletown high schools are a part of this year’s tournament. The finals will be held December 4th at Delaware State University.
