Delaware gas prices continue to tumble as summer arrives

Summer officially arrives this week, and there is good news for Delawareans planning a trip by car or camper.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says gas prices have continued their recent decline during the past week.  As of Sunday, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in Delaware was $3.64, down four cents from the previous week.  In early May, gas was close to $4.00 a gallon.  According to the auto club, crude prices were driven downward by several factors including the escalating economic crisis in Greece and shrinking U.S. factory activity in the Mid-Atlantic region.  CLICK HERE to track gas prices in your town or neighborhood.
