Cathedral Choir School of Delaware announces new home

The Cathedral Choir School of Delaware has a new home, and will be relocating within the next six months.

The school’s decision to move has already been approved by its Board of Directors.  Now, after months of searching for a place to continue its strong music program, the Choir School will be relocating to the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew in Wilmington.  The move comes at the right time for leaders, who are looking to expand and offer more services to the Wilmington community.

However, leaders at the nonprofit organization say the Brandywine Village Summer Camp will operate as scheduled this summer at its current location, the Cathedral Church of Saint John.  According to an announcement released by Linda O’Connor, who sits on the Board of Directors, the Choir School thanks all of its supporters, donors and the greater Wilmington community for helping search for a location that may offer new opportunities.

In August, administrators hope to be settled, and start uninterrupted music and after-school services in September.
