Delaware attracts fireflies

Kent County is poised for a huge economic boost the middle of July with its upcoming Firefly Music festival.

The News Journal reports Thursday that every hotel room in Dover will be booked by days end with music fans wanting to attend the 3 day festival set for July 20-22.

The event is set for the 87 acres of grounds around the Dover International Speedway.  To quote the festival’s website: “Firefly offers three days of unforgettable musical performances, enhanced dining options and interactive entertainment set among lush wooded landscapes in the heart of the East Coast.”  

The festival lists “The Killers”, “Jack White”, and “The Black Keys” among the top acts who will perform.
