Decision looms for southern Delaware “Extreme Makeover” soup kitchen

The Sussex County Board of Adjustment is expected to make a decision tonight that affects the future of Jusst Sooup Ranch, the soup kitchen that underwent an “Extreme Makeover” during the summer.

Volunteers assisted the ABC-TV program with a quick building project in August.  However, the community is divided over whether it is appropriate to allow Juust Sooup to serve low-income and homeless citizens in Cool Spring, between Georgetown and Lewes.  Rev. Dale Dunning told the News Journal that the people she hopes to serve are not a danger to the community.   The Board of Adjustment meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at Sussex County Council Chambers in Georgetown.  CLICK HERE for the agenda.
