Deadline for Hurricane Irene relief extended in New Jersey
New Jersey residents now have until Nov. 30 to apply for federal relief for Hurricane Irene damage.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency and Small Business Administration have extended the deadline for those who need housing, repairs or loans not covered by insurance, the Associated Press reports.
Anyone who still needs to apply can do so in the following ways:

Call FEMA toll-free at 800-621-3362.
Those with access or functional needs and who use a TTY may call 800-462-7585 or use 711 or Video Relay Service to call 800-621-3362. Telephone lines are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Multilingual operators are available.
