6300 block E. Wister St. – complainant said someone robbed him at gunpoint. Offender ran off with various IDs and a bankcard.

1000 block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said on offender pointed a gun at him while the three others punched and hit him in the face. Nothing was taken.

6700 block Cornelius St. – two TVs, two Dell laptops and an Xbox 360 stolen from the property.

700 block Church Lane – 1995 Mercury Sable stolen.

 

May 4, 2011

800 block Vernon Road – Pioneer navigation system and an iPod stolen from the a 2006 Dodge Charger between 1-8 a.m. May 4.

1100 block E. Stafford St. – jewelry was stolen from the property sometime after 7:48 a.m. May 4.

6500 block Musgrave St. – 1994 Nissan Altima stolen. Complainant said her vehicle broke down Feb. 22 and when she went back it was gone.

5500 block Chew Ave. – copper pipes stolen from the property. Complainant said she noticed that 60 ft of copper pipe was missing after she noticed water leaking from the basement. The house is currently under renovation.

6200 block Germantown Ave. – 52″ flat screen TV, 42″ flat screen TV and a 22″ monitor stolen from a storage facility between 1:30-5:45 p.m. May 4.

 

May 5, 2011

1200 block E. Washington Lane – complainant said two armed men entered his home, forced him to the floor and asked for money. Officers fled the scene with a wedding band, engagement ring and a cell phone. A witness saw them get into a cream-colored sedan and drive away.

200 block E. Sharpnack St. – complainant said someone grabbed her wallet from her hand and fled on foot.

7100 block Louise Road – complainant said someone took her iPhone while she was at the location.

5600 block Nelson St. – complainant said she was raped by a stranger in an unknown alley after she left her house.

300 block E. Tulpehocken St. – complainant said his ex-girlfriend sprayed pepper spray in the kitchen following an argument over a recent breakup. Offender was gone upon police arrival.

Unit block E. Chelten Ave. – employee at McDonald’s said someone threatened him with a razor blade. Store manager said the incident was recorded by an in-store camera.

200 block W. Evergreen Ave. – IBM computer and monitor stolen from the property.

 

May 6, 2011

2300 block 76th Ave. – complainant said someone fired two or three shots at him from a black sedan as he was walking at the location. Complainant was hit in the right hand. He was then taken to the hospital.

6600 block Sprague St. – complainant said a man grabbed her from behind, put a gun to her head and told her to give him everything she had. Offender ran off with a pocketbook, keys, a black leather jacket and a cell phone.

7800 block Provident St. – complainant said someone shot him in the left elbow, but didn’t see who it was. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

7800 block Provident St. – complainant was shot in the chest, but didn’t see who fired the gun. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

Crowson St. / Locust Ave. – complainant said he heard gunshots at the location while playing football. He said he started to run, but fell to the ground. He then saw the offender run past him. Complainant took himself to the hospital.

300 block E. Gorgas Lane – complainant said someone took his cell phone and fled the scene on foot.

 

May 7, 2011

5500 block Bloyd St. – complainant said that the offender was asked to leave after being a disturbance at the location. Once the offender left, a witness heard one gunshot. Police later stopped the offender.

W. Walnut Lane / McCallum St. – complainant said someone approached him from behind, pointed something into his back and told him to “empty his pockets”. Offender stole the complainant’s wallet containing a SEPTA pass and military ID.

Germantown Ave. / E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said three men approached him as he was getting off the bus, punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. Offenders then fled the scene.

7900 block Stenton Ave. – 2002 Dodge Stratus stolen between 8 p.m. May 5 and 8 p.m. May 7.

 

May 8, 2011

7200 block Sommers Road – bicycle, DVD player, boom box and multiple CDS stolen from the property. Complainant said he had several friends in and out of the property since 4 p.m. May 7. There were no signs of a forced entry.

900 block Slocum St. – complainant said three men robbed him at gunpoint while he was out buying a car at the location. One of the offenders hit him on the left side of the face with the gun and then ran off with his cell phone.

1900 block 69th Ave. – about $300 worth of baby clothes stolen from a 1999 Chevy Suburban.

900 block Slocum St. – Fossil watch, T-Mobile cell phone and $5000 stolen. Complainant said three men approached him and a friend who were looking at a car at the location, produced handguns and told them to give them everything they had. The offenders then fled on foot with the items.

700 block E. Chelten Ave. – 36″ flat screen TV stolen from the property. Complainant said the item was taken while she was out of her apartment for 20 minutes. There were no signs of a forced entry.

 

May 9, 2011

1900 block W. Cheltenham Ave. – 2010 Honda Accord stolen.

7500 block Mayland Road – various baby clothes, CDs and $10 were stolen from 1998 Mercury Mountaineer.

900 block E. Phil-Ellena St. – 1997 Oldsmobile Regency stolen.

1600 block E. Washington Lane – 2001 Suzuki Katana motorcycle stolen.

200 block E. Haines St. – complainant said an acquaintance cut her left hand with a knife and punched her in the face following a verbal altercation. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender fled the scene.

5800 block Wakefield St. – speakers and fog lights stolen from a car between May 8 and 7:30 a.m. May 9.

8700 block Prospect Ave. – HP laptop stolen from the property sometime between 10 p.m. May 3 and following morning. Complainant said her son may have taken the item. A neighbor saw him and another man enter the house around 4 a.m. and leave 15 minutes later with an unknown object in his hands. There were no signs of a forced entry.

300 block E. Mt. Airy Ave. – parts from a Whirlpool washer and dryer stolen between 2-6 p.m. May 8.
