County bookmobile back on the road

After being in the shop for repairs for months, the Sussex County Bookmobile is back on the streets.

Director of the Sussex County Department of Libraries Carol Fitzgerald says the bookmobile will return to its regular route today. “A number of day care centers, senior housing facilities and nursing homes look forward to when the Bookmobile rolls up,” she said. “So we have many of our own patrons who will be happy to see the Bookmobile as we get back on our routes.” The vehicle will also add stops at the Georgetown Public Library, which has been closed since September after a water main brake caused major damage at the brand library that had only been open for two months. You can find a complete schedule for the bookmobile on the county library’s website, or by clicking here.
