Country music legend Tanya Tucker is bringing her new tour to Pitman’s Broadway Theatre this Saturday.

Long before Taylor Swift, even way ahead of LeeAnn Rimes, Tucker caused a sensation in 1972 when she rocketed to fame at the tender age of 13 with the hit, “Delta Dawn”. Her career has since spanned more than four decades.

Besides being among country music’s all-time greatest female vocalists, the gravel-voiced Tucker also ranks as one of the top 10 musicians in the Outlaw Country sub-genre.

She plans to release her 25th studio album later this year. It will be the first new music Tucker’s recorded since 2009’s My Turn.
