Corbett nominates head of Department of Labor and Industry
Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett has chosen his nominee to head the Department of Labor and Industry. Pending Senate approval, Julia K. Hearthway will lead the office.
Hearthway, 54, joined the state attorney general’s office in 1993, the Associated Press reports, and most recently managed the insurance fraud section. She’s also served as a Montgomery County assistant district attorney and a private practice lawyer.
