Construction begins on new Dover High School

Construction is underway on a new Dover High School, which will have a capacity of up to 1,800 students.

Ground was broken for the project Tuesday along Route 8.  Voters in the Capital School District approved a referendum last year to fund the project.  The new Dover High School will measure about 290-thousand square feet.  Construction may be completed by 2014.  The existing Dover High School is more than 45 years old.
