Chestnut Hill grocery store plan is the focus of two upcoming meetings

The plan to build a Fresh Market at 8200 Germantown Ave. faces more scrutiny this month. The Chestnut Hill Community Association’s multiple Development Review Committees will look at different aspects during their upcoming meetings.

The next meeting to look at Bowman Properties plan to build a Fresh Market along with condos and townhomes is tonight at 8 p.m. The CHCA’s Land Use Planning and Zoning Committee will meet at the Chestnut Hill Hospital, 8835 Germantown Avenue, Main Level Conference Room.

The next meeting to look at the plan is Monday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. The CHCA’s Traffic, Transportation, and Parking Committee will meet at Town Hall, 8434 Germantown Avenue.

The meeting has been moved to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 22 E. Chestnut Hill Ave. to accommodate a larger crowd. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. in the Church’s Dixon House.
