Comparing the aftermath of Sandy and Irene through photos in Northwest Philly

Hurricane Sandy largely spared Manayunk, Roxborough and East Falls from major flood damage this year.

Spots that were flooded after Hurricane Irene last August were left untouched after Sandy’s whipping winds and downpours on Monday. 

NewsWorks Contributor Janis Chakars went out after the storm Tuesday morning to see how the two storms compared and brought back these photos.
