Community medical center announces expansion plans

Wilmington’s Henrietta Johnson Medical Center announces major remodeling effort to double its patient service area.
The medical center provided care to nearly 7,000 patients in 2010, and 66% of those patients fell below the 200% federal poverty level, while 84% were below the 100% federal poverty level. In addition to unveiling construction plans today, the center also launched the community phase of its capital campaign.
