Coast Guard searching for Cape May boater missing since hurricane

No one has heard from Falcon A. Riley since Aug. 25. That’s the last time the 23-year-old was seen around Cape May with his sailboat.

Now the Coast Guard is searching for Riley, who’s been missing since Hurricane Irene struck the coast last weekend.

The Star-Ledger reports the Coast Guard is still broadcasting messages in hopes of contacting the vessel, and because of the lack of more information, the search effort will not expand at the point.

The boat has a white hull with a green stripe on the side, green sail covers and spray hood. Anyone who might have more information is asked to call the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia at (215) 271-4940.
