Civil War Road Show makes last stop, female boxing promoter makes her debut

Good morning, Feeders! Grab your free coffee and settle in; we’ve got a lot of news for you today.

Lizz Fiedler will introduce us to the youngest female boxing promoter. And yes, she happens to be local. Tom MacDonald will have some follow-up on the end of Philly’s gun court.

The Civil War Road Show, which came to Philadelphia in July, is making its last stop this week, but with a little detour. Because the traveling show’s original final destination was flooded out, the show will instead head to Peddler’s Village. Peter Crimmins will have the details on that, and on the art installation on Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.

Roxborough is getting a $2.2 milliomn facelift. A stretch of Ridge Avenue will see shrubs, new sidewalks, planters, neighborhood signs and more. Construction is already underway.
