Citywide crackdown yields dozens of ATVs, dirt bikes

Police in Philadelphia say a citywide crackdown has yielded dozens of illegal all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes.

Authorities said Sunday that they’ve seized 53 vehicles, including two that were stolen.

Dirt bike and ATV riding is popular in the summer months, despite being illegal on city streets. Police say they wanted to conduct the crackdown earlier this year to get ahead of the warm weather.
