Christmas livestocking

A holiday tradition returns to Old City.

The Old First Reformed United Church of Christ has once again set up its life size Christmas manger and stocked it with real farm animals.

Incidentally, the church happens to be a few blocks from the WHYY studios, and some of us staffers pass it on the way to frequented food establishments in Old City.

At last check, the manger housed two sheep, two goats, a small cow, and a small donkey, Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, and three wise men.

The display brings to mind a nativity scene news item from last year.  Remember this one?  Who could forget?
