Christie writes excuse note for student who skipped school for governor’s town hall

A Point Pleasant Beach student had a pretty good excuse for missing school today, and a rock-solid alibi.

Peter Schwartz, 11, was at N.J. Gov. Chris Christie’s town hall meeting in Garfield to ask the guv what to do about being bullied by an authority.

The Associated Press reports Schwartz also asked Christie to write him an excuse note for missing school. Christie did so on the back of the “reserved seating” sign, and advised Schwartz to enlist his parents and the bully’s boss to resolve the issue.
