Christie to appear on ‘Ask the Governor’ Wednesday

Gov. Chris Christie is taking his budget message to the airwaves. The potential Republican presidential candidate appears on the monthly “Ask the Governor” show on New Jersey 101.5 FM at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The appearance comes a day after Christie unveiled his budget plans for fiscal year 2016.

The speech called for a major overhaul of the state’s pension system for public workers along with other concessions.

Christie has been spending lots of time out of state as he fundraises and campaigns for a potential presidential run.

But he’s expected to spend more time in New Jersey over the coming weeks as he works to sell his budget plan.

He’ll also hold his first town hall of the year on Wednesday afternoon.
