Cat of the Week: Donald Trump

Meet Donald Trump (A15630091)! He is a 1- to 2-year-old male cat with alot of spunk in his step.

He doesn’t have the combover and he is MUCH better looking than his namesake. He will never say, “You’re fired.”He will only say “I love you” with his company.

Donald comes right to the front of the cage for a head butt or to be petted. He came to the shelter when his owner got sick, and he was not a happy cat. He did not want anyone to touch him.

After a group of dedicated volunteers worked with him, Donald came full turn and loves and wants attention. He wants pets all the time.

Donald is not a fan of being picked up, but will sit by your side all day. He has been at the shelter since March 15, and is still a happy cat. If you are looking for a fun young cat to be your companion or add a little spice to your life, Donald is your man!

He doesn’t need a penthouse suite – just a chair or window sill to call his own.

Donald Trump is part of the Kneady Cats Club at ACCT, a program that pairs a “needy” cat with a volunteer for more one-on-one attention, marketing and socialization.

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave. and is open 365 days a year. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday; 1pm-8pm; Saturday and Sunday; 10am-5pm. To check the status of an animal, call 267-385-3800. Check in every week with NEast Philly to see the cat and dog of the week.
