Career and Technical Education Month

Career and Technical Education Month celebrated at Sussex Tech High School.
Senator Chris Coons (D-Delaware) will visit the school in Georgetown to draw attention to the importance of career and technical education in the U.S. economy.  According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs that require “middle-skills” (more education than high school but less than a bachelor’s degree) will make up about 45% of all job openings through 2014.
