Cape May’s ‘boomerang’ campaign hopes to attract visitors past Labor Day
Cape May County has launched a new campaign with the goal of bringing their visitors back after the summer season, Press of Atlantic City reports.
“The idea is you’re here in the summer, so come back again,” says Diane Wieland, head of the county’s department of tourism.
The county has already launched a website, where tourists can see upcoming attractions and events for the fall season. They are also advertising through local businesses, radio programs, and social media platforms.
Wieland says that they wish to target second-homeowners and those not tied to a school-year calendar.
