Bustleton residents warned of vehicle break-ins

The 7th District Police issued an advisory early Monday afternoon warning residents of three Bustleton blocks, and those nearby, of a rash of vehicle break-ins.

From 7th District Capt. Joseph Zaffino: 7th District residents, please be advised that there have been numerous incidents of vehicles being broken into. The targeted areas have been the 9900-block of Norwalk Street, the 9900-block of Bustleton Avenue and the 600-block of Red Lion Road. Unfortunately, all of these vehicles had one of the windows smashed out, and in most cases, nothing was taken. Residents are reminded to be diligent in working with the police as far as seeing and phoning in suspicious activity. DO NOT TAKE POLICE ACTION. Please call A if you see anything that appears suspicious. There is no description or video of the perpetrator’s. I will pass on any information with any updates, should get information relative to the break-in of these autos.
