Bustleton man charged for leaving kids in car while gambling

A Bustleton man has been charged for leaving his two children in the car while he gambled at Bensalem’s Parx casino.

Earlier this month, Tan Truong, 38, celebrated his birthday at Parx late into the night, while his 6- and 8-year-old daughters remained in his minivan in the parking lot.

Troung was charged just last week, once the investigation was completed. The Inquirer reports Troung is the eight person charged since June 15 with leaving children in the car while gambling. He remains free until his Dec. 1 for hearing for endangering the welfare of a child, at which time bail will likely be set.
