Bug and Bud festival in Milford this weekend
Hundreds expected in Milford for annual Bug and Bud Festival.
A costume parade, activity for kids and interactive displays will be featured as part of the town’s annual celebration this Saturday. Milford has been given a Green Tree City designation. Milford school children were also behind the push to get the Lady Bug named the state bug. The combination is what Milford hopes will give people a reason to want to visit. Last week’s First’s Shirley Min talked with Gary Emory of Milford’s Parks and Recreation Department about the festival.
