Brick bank robbery suspect assaults teller, flees without proceeds, police say

Police are seeking a man
Authorities are investigating a late Monday morning bank robbery in Brick.
Shortly before 11 a.m., a white man entered TD Bank on Cedar Bridge Avenue and demanded money from a teller, said Sgt. Neal Pedersen, Brick Police Department spokesman, in a release.
The man then went behind the counter, assaulted the teller, and then fled the scene toward the Mr. Tire store without proceeds, Pedersen said, adding that the suspect jumped the bushes at Mr. Tire and continued to run toward Route 70.
The teller was uninjured, the spokesman said.
Pedersen describes the suspect, who remains at large, as a skinny white male with a large nose in his 40s, wearing a grey inside out hoodie, sunglasses, and Converse style sneakers. He was wearing a black neoprene face mask and did not display a weapon.
