‘Breakfast with Santa’ event benefits East Falls playground [gallery]
Droves of East Falls residents attended the sixth annual “Breakfast With Santa” event at Falls Presbyterian Church on Saturday morning.
The event, which has become a neighborhood staple, brings families together to celebrate the season with crafts, toys and breakfast all while offering children the chance to present Santa Claus with their holiday requests.
Organizers Sarah Taylor and Jen Arnoldi said that while any proceeds go toward the Inn Yard Park playground, Saturday’s event also seeks to make families feel welcome in the city.
“People are so grateful for such a sweet low-key event, to be able to see Santa, have a relaxed morning and catch up with their neighbors” Taylor said.
