Photos: Blemished peaches get second chance

New Jersey farmers usually discard thousands of pounds of blemished peaches that don’t make it to market.

Now, Campbell Soup Company and the Food Bank of New Jersey are transforming those Jersey peaches into a special peach salsa.

“Just Peachy” will be sold through the food bank and local retailers and could raise more than $100,000 for hunger relief programs.

Campbell is donating products and packaging costs, and volunteers are labeling jars.
