Beebe Hopsital to make security changes

Beebe Medical Center says it will change their security policies to make sure it doesn’t run into another situation where an employee accidentally took home patient records.

The News Journal reports an employee accident stuffed the names and social security numbers of 113 patients into a brief case that was taken on vacation to Disney World.  That brief case was stolen.  The paper reports the hospital will implement safeguards to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future.  It will also provide credit monitoring services for a year for those affected.
