Arrest made in Delaware motel murder

A Wilmington woman is in custody in connection with the murder of a Wilmington man at a Claymont motel.

Delaware State Police homicide detectives arrested 48-year-old Sherry Jackson, Tuesday, and charged her with murder. DSP says detectives caught up with the suspect in the 500 block of West 6th Street in Wilmington and arrested her without incident.

The body of Theodore Tucker, 52, was found inside a room in the Riverview Motel Monday morning. While searching the room, detectives say they discovered personal items belonging to Jackson, as well as the possible murder weapon.
