Oral arguments in lawsuit filed by Sussex Sheriff against state and county. Sussex County Sheriff Jeff Christopher’s lawsuit against the county and the state will move forward today with oral arguments at the courthouse in Georgetown this afternoon. Christopher is challenging the constitutionality of HB 325 which was signed into law last year barring sheriffs and sheriffs deputies from making arrests.
