April 16: AAA waterfront building resumes | Fishtown LiveNation venues | Council 2.0

AAA appears to be moving forward with construction of the non-conforming building on the waterfront that is currently tied up in appeals. L&I issued an over-the-counter permit for the building, which does not conform to the Central Delaware Overlay, a day before the overlay went into effect. 

There was a heated meeting last night in Passyunk Square over the lack of parking in the proposal to develop the empty lot near Pat’s and Geno’s with an 18-unit mixed-use building.

Geoff Thompson makes the case that prioritizing cheap parking over housing in these situations is hurting our school tax base.
