For over 30 years, the Brown Street Community Garden has provided gardening space for neighbors in the Mill Creek neighborhood. And since 2005, Mill Creek Farm, a Next Great City partner, has provided healthy, affordable food and education on the same site.
You can help them preserve the land as open space through the Neighborhood Gardens Association Land Trust by voicing your support to Councilwoman Blackwell. Take action today by sending a letter to Councilwoman Blackwell to let her know that you appreciate the service that Mill Creek Farm provides for the local community and the city as a whole, and that you want to see the site protected and preserved as open space.
