Nine-year-old Christina Taylor Green, one of the six people killed in the Tucson Arizona shootings, was posthumously named an honorary member of the Delaware State Senate.
Christina’s civic interest drew her to the citizen forum with Arizona Congressman Gabrielle Giffords last Saturday morning. The girl was the granddaughter of former Phillies Manager and Delaware native Dallas Green. The resolution was passed Wednesday, the second day of this year’s General Assembly session in Dover.
