5th Police District Crime Blotter May 2- 8

May 2, 2011

8100 block Ridge Ave. – Canon camera with a lens and 32GB memory card was stolen from the property between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. on May 2.

200 block Rochelle Ave. – four, 20” factory tires stolen from a 2010 Chevy Camaro between 8 p.m. on May 1 and 9 a.m. on May 2.

400 block Domino Lane – lawn mower stolen, but recovered prior to the police report. Complainant said she heard a noise outside of her home. When she walked outside, she saw a man trying to leave the yard with the item. The complainant shouted at the offender to drop her property. He complied and fled the scene.

May 3, 2011

4100 block Churchview St. – GPS, Blackberry phone charger and a leather wallet containing IDs and credit cards were stolen from two cars between 8 p.m. on May 2 and 11:45 p.m. on May 3. The two cars are a 2004 Jeep Liberty and a 2009 Kia Spectra.

4100 block Main St. – Cannondale bicycle stolen from the property between 10:30 – 11 a.m. on May 3. Store mananger at Human Zoom Bikes & Boards said someone took the item from the store’s front window display and fled.

200 block Fountain St. – Sirius satellite radio, sunglasses, a serving apron and a TD Bank checkbook stolen. 

6700 block Ridge Ave. – $300 worth of money orders, $50, notebook computer, DVD player, 24” Samsung TV and more stolen from the property. Complainant said she returned to her apartment at around 10 p.m. on May 2 to find two offenders. She said one of the offenders then pushed her down and hit her in the nose before running off with the items. Complainant said she is unsure if she locked the apartment before leaving.

May 4, 2011

5700 block Ridge Ave. – driver side mirror and hubcaps stolen from three vehicles at Liberty Lube Service between 8 p.m. on May 3 and 6:30 a.m. on May 4.

3900 block Manayunk Ave. – two tires, two rims and lug nuts stolen from a 2004 Honda Civic between 7:30 p.m. May 3 and 8:15 a.m. May 4.

May 5, 2011

4300 block Pechin St. – 2003 Honda CBR-600 motorcycle stolen between 11:30 p.m. on May 4 and 4 p.m. on May 5.

4700 block Umbria St. – 15” Apple laptop monitor, two watches and a Playstation 3 stolen from the property between 1 and 4:30 p.m. on May 5.

May 6, 2011

500 block Seville St. – iPod Nano, two GPS systems, a spare remote key, $10 and cell phone chargers stolen from two vehicles between 4 p.m. on May 5 to 10 a.m. on May 6. The two vehicles are a 2007 Nissan Altima and a 2009 Jeep Liberty.

500 block Hermit St. – two laptops and several pieces of jewelry stolen from the property between 5:15 and 7:15 a.m. on May 6. 

Main St. / Carson St. – complainant hit by a car and dragged down the street before the driver fled the scene. The complainant had been arguing with the offender just prior to the incident. The complainant was taken to the hospital and released. A female driver’s license was dropped at the scene of accident.

May 7, 2011

5400 block Vicaris St. – wallet containing $1,641, a driver’s license, an access card and medications stolen from a 2000 Nissan Altima. Complainant said she was talking with the offender in her car at the time. The offender then grabbed the items and exited the vehicle.

6900 block Cliff Road – iPod Touch, Garmin GPS system, 50 CDs and tools stolen from a 2002 Chevy Yukon between 2-6:30 p.m. on May 7.
