March 2, 2012

3300 block Bowman St. – Dell laptop stolen from a 2000 Chevy Cavalier.

300 block W. Queen Lane – Complainant said two men robbed him at the location. He said the offenders punched him in the face and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t hand over his cell phone and money. Offenders ran off with an iPhone and $2.

1800 block Brunner St. – 2002 BMW 745 stolen.

3400 block N. 22nd St. – Complainant said he was shot in his left arm and left side of his chest while driving at the location. He said a man was standing on the corner and shooting. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

March 3, 2012

3700 block Merrick Road – Complainant said his brother hit him in the head with a gun during a dispute over the television.

3700 block N. 19th St. – Complainant said a man beat him with a belt buckle.

1400 block W. Jerome St. – Dell computer stolen from the property.

1600 block St. Paul St. – iPod stolen from the property.

1900 block Dalkeith St. – Complainant said an offender cut her with an unknown object during a dispute.

3400 block N. 15th St. – Black suitcase and four dresses were stolen from a 1999 Toyota Rav-4.

3300 block N. 22nd St. – Copper pipes and copper wires were stolen from the property.

N. 26th St. / W. Sterner St. – A man was murdered. Police found the complainant unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the left side of his neck. Complainant was pronounced dead at the hospital.

3000 block N. 23rd St. – $35,000 stolen from the property.

March 4, 2012

4300 block Kelly Drive – Complainant was involved in a fight at a school at the location. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he was treated for a concussion.

3900 block Nice St. – Complainant said two men robbed him at knifepoint at the location. Offenders ran off with a pair of headphones, portable radio and lighter.

3300 block N. Gratz St. – X-box game system, jar full of change and dollar bills and a two laptops were stolen from the property.

3600 block N. 18th St. – GPS, purse, wallet and debit card stolen from a 2005 Toyota Scion.

2100 block W. Allegheny Ave. – 2003 Mazda MPV stolen, but recovered.

2700 block N. 28th St. – A man was murdered. Police found the complainant with an unknown gunshot wound to the head. Complainant was pronounced dead at 3 a.m.

March 5, 2012

5000 block McKean Ave. – $260 stolen from the property.

3200 block Defense Terrace – Sony laptop, Nintendo 3DS game system and three Nintendo games stolen from the property.

1600 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – Complainant said two men punched him several times in the face and body. Complainant went to the hospital.

3500 block N. Smedley St. – Safe, four watches, white gold diamond ring and a Toshiba mini-notebook computer were stolen from the property.

3200 block N. 19th St. – Pocketbook, $700 and various IDs stolen from a 2007 Chevy Impala.

1900 block Westmoreland Ave. – Complainant said she was robbed at gunpoint. Offender ran off with a Louis Vuitton handbag containing credit cards, $2100, diamond ring, a $2500 money order, watch and a Sony camera.

March 6, 2012

1700 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – A student began fighting a police officer after the officer tried to calm her down after she was told by staff that her phone would not be returned. Officer tried to cuff the offender when the offender grabbed the cuff and cut the police officers on the right thumb.

2600 block N. Garnet St. – Laptop, wedding rings, Xbox and $500 stolen from the property.

March 7, 2012

3100 block Berkeley Drive – Complainant said a bullet hit his car while he was conducting an investigation at the location.

3400 block Cresson St. – iPod, checkbook, phone charger, wallet and 30 discount cards were stolen from a 2006 Honda Civic.

5300 block Wayne Ave. – 2011 Kia Sorrento stolen.

3300 block N. Uber St. – Complainant said a known offender threatened her with a knife during a dispute over money.

3700 block N. 15th St. – 42-inch LCD TV, Wii game system, Vtech reader and a Sony stereo stolen from the property.

2800 block N. 22nd St. – Complainant said a known offender cut her with a knife or fork during a dispute. Offender also knocked complainant to the ground and punched and kicked her in the head, face and body. Offender was arrested.

2500 block W. Willard St. – Complainant said a known offender sliced her right index finger. Offender was taken into custody.

3100 block N. 29th St. – Complainant said a man entered the store while she was closing, pushed her to the ground and kicked her numerous times before running off with $100 from the register.

March 8, 2012

100 block W. Queen Lane – Complainant said a man robbed her at the location. She said the offender approached after she withdrew $120 from an ATM. Offender punched her in the head and took the cash from complainant’s purse before fleeing the scene. Offender was arrested.

3600 block Midvale Ave. – Complainant said three men robbed him the location. Offenders ran off with a cell phone, iPod and glasses.

3700 block Palisades Drive – Complainant said she was raped by a known acquaintance.

3800 block Archer St. – Complainant said his daughter-in-law struck him in the head with a vase after dispute. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
