4500 block Kelly Drive – complainant said he broke his right leg after someone pushed him off his bike with two hands. Complainant had a verbal dispute with a construction worker after the worker alleged the complainant had damaged the mirror on one of the worker’s vehicles. After waiting for 15-20 minutes for the police, the complainant told the worker he was going to take off. The construction worker then yelled for other workers up the street to stop the complainant from riding away. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

April 15, 2011

500 block Hansberry St. – complainant said a man robbed him and his brother at gunpoint. The offender fled with $900.

3000 block N 23rd St. – complainant said a man threatened to kill him outside of his girlfriend’s home. Complainant ran into the home after the offender’s threat.

April 16, 2011

2900 block W. Queen Lane – Garmin GPS, iPod Nano, stereo and a gym bag were stolen from 2003 Honda Accord. Complainant said someone broke into the car between 2-6 p.m. April 15.

3300 block N. Bouvier St. – iPod Shuffle, clothing, various credit cards and more were stolen from two vehicles between 9 p.m. April15 and 2:35 a.m. April 16. The items were taken from a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica and a 2007 Ford Edge.

April 17, 2011

4000 block Ridge Ave. – bike stolen between 4 p.m. April 13 and 2 p.m. April 16. Complainant said the item was chained up in the parking garage of an apartment complex.

1700 block W. Tioga St. – T-Mobile My Touch cell phone stolen from a 2004 Cadillac SRX between 2-11:45 p.m. April 16.

4400 block N. 19th St. – complainant said her ex-boyfriend broke into her home at stole $1250 from a bedroom. Complainant said the man lived at the location two weeks before the incident and that her son was home at the time.

3200 block N. 25th St. – complainant said a man riding a bike shot him once in the lower left leg and fled.

April 18, 2011

100 block W. Seymour St. – complainant said a fellow student sprayed her in the face with mace and fled the scene. The complainant was taken to the hospital to treat her swollen, red eyes.

4900 block Pulaski Ave. – complainant said a man exited his car, threatened him and threw a brick at his windshield while complainant was inside. The offender fled after shattering the complainant’s windshield.  Complainant said he wasn’t sure what sparked the April 7 incident.

300 block W. Logan St. – 2005 Jeep Cherokee stolen between 4 p.m. April 17 and 8:30 a.m. April 18.

3200 block N. Carlisle St. – complainant said $400 was taken from her 2002 Toyota Avalon between 4 p.m. April 15 and 12 p.m. April 16. There were no signs of a forced entry. Complainant said other family members have keys to the car.

1800 block W. Tioga St. – Toshiba laptop, Kodak digital camera and CDs stolen from the property between 11 a.m. April 15 and 2 p.m. April 18. Complainant said the items were in her daughter’s backpack. She said her landlord has access to apartment and has been going in and out of it. There were no signs of a forced entry.

3200 block N. 16th St. – Xbox 360 game system stolen from the property between 4-6 p.m. April 18. Complainant said he left the door unlocked before leaving the house.

2300 block W. Indiana Ave. – complainant said he was shot twice as he headed into the location. Complainant was hit in the buttocks and right leg after hearing six to eight gunshots. Complainant did not see anyone shooting and was taken to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

1400 block W. Indiana Ave. – GPS and a silver watch stolen from a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer at approx. 8 p.m. April 17.

April 19, 2011

400 block W. Clapier St. – 1997 Nissan Altima stolen, but recovered prior to the police report. Complainant said he parked the car at the location around approx. 10:40 a.m April 19. Police later observed someone jump out of the car and start pushing it. The offender was then arrested.

400 block Harvey St. – 2006 Jeep Liberty stolen between 3 a.m. April 18 and 8 a.m. April 19.

4700 block Wissahickon Ave. – 1997 Honda Accord stolen between 12 p.m. April 1 and 8 a.m. April 19. Complainant said he left the car at the location after getting two flat tires.

3300 block N. 16th St. – cabinets, kitchen material, flooring, tiles and more were stolen from the property between 9 a.m March 31 and 10:28 a.m. April 19. Complainant said the property is being renovated.

1600 block Rowan St. – refrigerator, washer, drying, microwave, tools and more were stolen from the property between 3 p.m. April 18 and 2 p.m. April 19. Complainant said a neighbor noticed two men running from the property and driving away in a blue pickup truck.

1600 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – 2003 Chevy Impala between 2-3:30 a.m. April 14.

2000 block W. Indiana Ave. – multiple boxes of cigarettes and 12 packs of pampers stolen from a mini-market.

2100 block W. Toronto St. – complainant said a man robbed him at gunpoint at approx. 3 a.m. April 17. Offender ran off with a wallet containing $250 and an ID, among other things.

2700 block N. Broad St. – complainant said a man tried to steal his iPhone from him while he was riding a bus. A second offender punched him as the first struggled to grab the phone. The complainant was able to hold onto the item.

April 20, 2011

1400 block W. Cayuga St. – 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen. Complainant said he was at a meeting at the location when the offender pointed a shotgun at him and ordered him to get on the ground. The offender also stole the complainant’s wallet and cell phone.

3000 block N. Bambrey St.  – 19” Sharp TV was stolen from the property. Complainant said he was waiting for the item to be delivered. When he called the company responsible for the delivery, the complainant was told the item had already been dropped off.

April 21, 2011

500 block W. Chelten Ave. – manager of Chelten Arms Apartments said someone took the top of a coin-operated Whirlpool washing machine at the location. He said everyone living at the location has access to the area.

1900 block W. Allegheny – two employees at a Family Dollar said a man robbed the store at gunpoint just before closing April 21. The offender fled on foot after taking $1900.

2100 block W. Ontario St. – 1994 Dodge Spirit stolen between 3:30-4:15 p.m. April 21.

4300 block N. 17th St. – complainant said three men jumped into his car, assaulted him and stole his cell phone and $200. Complainant said the men flagged down the vehicle. One of the offenders then reached into the car through the passenger side window and opened the door. The other two offenders then entered after the complainant stopped the car. The offenders fled the scene after the robbery.

1500 block W. Ontario St. – car stolen between 4:30-6:37 p.m. April 21.

2500 block W. Seltzer St – jewelry, iPAD, Dell laptop, HP printer and a Playstation 3 stolen from the property. Complainant said the items were taken between 12-6 p.m. April 20.

2800 block W. Lehigh Ave. – complainant said two men robbed him at gunpoint while he was taking out the trash. The offenders stole the complainant’s wallet and car keys and drove off in the complainant’s 2000 Volvo S70.

2800 block W. Lehigh Ave. – 2000 Volvo S70 stolen, but recovered prior to police report. Complainant said the offender was looking around inside his TV shop for about 25 minutes. When the complainant went to get his keys, he noticed they were missing. Offender was later caught driving the vehicle and arrested.
