June: 26: 4400 block Wayne Ave. – a man was murdered and five more were injured during a shooting incident at a bar at the property.

June 28: 1700 block W. Juniata St. – a man was murdered. Police found a man inside the driver seat of a 2008 Chevy Impala with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and buttocks. Complainant was pronounced dead at the scene at approx. 1:46 a.m. Offender fled on foot towards Germantown Avenue.

June 24, 2011

4900 block Wayne Ave. – complainant said someone stole his iPhone while he was playing basketball at the location.

200 block W. Chelten Ave. – 2010 Dodge Charger stolen between May 23 and June 24.

Unit block W. Seymour St. – 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis stolen between 8 p.m. June 23 and 7 p.m. June 24.

Greene St. / W. Garfield St. – complainant said two men carjacked him at gunpoint. Offenders drove off in the complainant’s 1996 Ford Crown Victoria.

2100 block W. Tioga St. – complainant said someone stole a stone lion head from the property’s exterior.

1700 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – complainant said someone stole $700 from his apartment between 12 p.m. June 22 and June 24.

1900 block W. Erie Ave. – complainant said her ex-boyfriend pulled out a handgun during an argument over cell phones. Offender then fled the location.

June 25, 2011

2700 block N. Hollywood St. – water pipes and water meter stolen from the property between 8:30 a.m. June 23 and 4:16 p.m. June 25.

4400 block Wayne Ave.  – box spring and mattress, four bamboo cherry folding chairs and a coffee table stolen from the property between 9 a.m. May 14 and 9:15 a.m. June 15.

2900 block N. 22nd St. – complainant said she had just cashed a $1,000 lottery ticket when an unknown offender snatched the money and fled the location. The offender was later arrested.

3000 block N. Lambert St.  – Dell computer, microphone with filter, monitor, interface computer, Playstation, cable box and a wallet containing various IDs and $50 were stolen. Complainant said the items were stolen between 6-11:30 a.m. June 25.

3000 block N. Hemberger St. – complainant said a known offender threw a screwdriver at him during an argument. Complainant was taken to the hospital for a deep cut on his left hand. Offender was arrested on location.

Fox St. / W. Allegheny Ave. – complainant said someone robbed him at gun point at a gas station. Offender fled with a debit card and an ID.

June 26, 2011

3700 block N. Broad St. – complainant said a known offender got out of his car at a stoplight and pointed a gun at her while she was in her car. Offender was later arrested.

4400 block Wayne Ave. – a man was murdered and five more were injured during a shooting incident at a bar at the property.

2800 block W. Somerset St. – HP laptop and a faceplate to a DVD player stolen from a 2002 Toyota Avalon.

2900 block N. Bailey St. – Dell computer, Sony DVD player, two watches, two cell phones, clothing and jewelry stolen from the property between 10 p.m. June 16 and 12 a.m. June 17.

June 27, 2011

3400 block W. School House Lane – 2005 Harley Davidson Road King Special was stolen between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 27.

2600 block Roberts Ave.  – Garmin GPS and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from a 2007 Ford Focus between 2 p.m. June 26 and 8 a.m. June 27.

4300 block Clarissa St. – 2003 GMC Yukon stolen. Complainant said the car was taken by a black tow truck.

2300 block W. Lehigh Ave. – complainant said a known offender stole two pairs of shoes and a pair of sunglasses from her after he asked her for money.

2800 block N. Ringgold St. – Yamaha saxophone, tenor saxophone and a cell phone stolen from the property between 10:30 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. June 27.

June 28, 2011

3200 block W. Allegheny Ave. – complainant said an unknown offender fired four gunshots at his car while driving on Allegheny Avenue. He said one of the bullets hit the front driver side window. Another hit the front driver side door frame.

100 block W. Abbotsford Ave. – Alpine car radio and Bluetooth device stolen from a Toyota Matrix.

300 block Berkley St.  – complainant said a known offender shot at her with what she believed to be a BB gun. Complainant said she was in her basement washing clothes at the time of the incident. She added that a basement door was open.

3400 block W. Lehigh Ave. – two chainsaws stolen from a cemetery between 5 p.m. June 27 and 7:30 a.m. June 28.

5700 block Wissahickon Ave. – two silver watches and an iPod stolen from the property.

400 block W. Coulter St. – 1994 Dodge Caravan stolen between 11:30 p.m. June 27 and 4:30 a.m. June 28.

4200 block Germantown Ave. – complainant said three female offenders sprayed her in the face with mace and then punched and kicked her. The offenders ran off with the complainant’s wallet.

1700 block W. Juniata St. – a man was murdered. Police found a man inside the driver seat of a 2008 Chevy Impala with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and buttocks. Complainant was pronounced dead at the scene at approx. 1:46 a.m. Offender fled on foot towards Germantown Avenue.

4400 block N. 16th St. – motorcycle stolen between 10:45 p.m. June 27 and 7 a.m. June 28.

2700 block N. Opal St. – complainant said her son slapped her and swung a kitchen knife at her sister.

2900 block N. Ringgold St. – complainant said a known offender hit her in the left hand with a stick during a dispute.

June 29, 2011

100 W. Wyneva St. – complainant said an unknown male offender robbed him at gunpoint. Offender fled with the complainant’s iPod.

Unit block W. Queen Lane – 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen between 12-2 a.m. June 29.

3400 block N. Sydenham St. – 10 ft. of copper pipe stolen from the property between 9 p.m. June 28 and 8 a.m. June 29.

2800 block N. Ringgold St. – weapon safe containing three guns and $400 were stolen from the property between 5 p.m June 22 and 3:15 p.m. June 29. Complainant said he was out of town at the time and that his daughter noticed the items were missing.

1800 block W. Allegheny Ave.  – complainant said a man pushed her to the ground and raped her while holding a gun to her head. Offender ran off after the complainant hit him in the head with a brick.

June 30, 2011

3400 block W. Lehigh Ave. – five grass trimmers and three shovels stolen from a cemetery.

5000 block Knox St. – Xbox 360 game system, GPS and work tools were stolen from a 2004 Cadillac Escalade between 5 p.m. June 29 and 8 a.m. June 30.

3400 block W. Coulter St. – golf clubs, GPS, CDs and three golf tokens stolen from a 2006 Dodge Charger between 11 p.m. June 29 and 11 a.m. June 30.

2200 block W. Venango St. – complainant said her boyfriend punched her in the face and stole her purse after the complainant refused to enter his apartment.
