3 devices similar to pipe bombs found in Pa. home

Authorities say they want to talk to a suburban Philadelphia man after the discovery of three explosive devices similar to pipe bombs in a Bucks County home.

Police say the Warrington Township neighborhood was evacuated yesterday as Philadelphia police bomb squad officers removed the devices.

Update: John Gryzminski was taken into custody this morning and faces charges of risking a catastrophe and manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.

Sam Rabadi of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says the devices were detonated by the bomb squad. He says incident is not related to terrorism.

Rabadi says “additional items” were removed from the residence as evidence, but he declined to be specific.
