If the winter blues and blahs are starting to take their toll, a dose of early spring may be in order.

From Feb. 12 through Feb. 15, the 13th annual New Jersey Garden Show will bring a showcase of the season to come with colorful and fragrant display gardens, standard flower show and over 125 vendors.

There will be plenty of guest speakers and seminars to help attendees cultivate their green thumbs in the event’s Gardeners Go To School Room.  Besides plant care tips, there will be lectures ranging from training trees to take shape as living benches to nature journaling and garden photography.

Thinking about producing your own honey?  There’s a seminar on beginning apiary, too.
Over at the Bouquet of the Day, contestants will demonstrate their container gardening skills in the popular Container Challenge, to be judged by the audience.

Tickets are $15 for adults ($10 for seniors) and $6 for ages 12 to 17.

Thursday, Feb. 12, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13 and 14, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
and Sunday, Feb. 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  – New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, 97 Sunfield Ave., Edison, N.J.
