Charlie Brown Christmas, December 12th
The Eric Mintel Quartet returns to The Grand with their special Charlie Brown Jazz Holiday concert LIVE in the intimate Baby Grand setting. The quartet will perform such Vince Guarldi tunes as “Linus and Lucy,” “Skating,” “Christmas is Coming,” “Christmas Time is Here” and more while also including a special visual element that will delight the entire family. Pianist and composer, Eric Mintel and the Eric Mintel Quartet have thrilled audiences of all ages with this holiday concert that has become a staple of the holidays Baby Grand, Wilmington.
The Nutcracker, December 18th & 19th
This Christmas, get swept up in the dream of Tchaikovsky’s most famous composition, The Nutcracker. Experience Clara’s breathtaking journey that begins with the gift of a magical toy and takes her through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Celebrating its 18th season, Mid-Atlantic Ballet (MAB) is proud to present this annual holiday classic under the guidance of Artistic Director, Patrick Korstange. Calvary Assembly of God presents: Christmas is the Best Time of the Year!, December 11th – 13th
Calvary’s new Christmas musical, Christmas is the Best Time of the Year, follows TV news reporter, Katie O’Connor, on her journey of re-discovering the joy of Christmas. Katie is a bah-humbug girl who lost her Christmas spirit. Ironically, her boss, Chuck, gives her a Christmas broadcast exclusive that propels her into the middle of highly festive characters. The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, December 11th – 13th
It’s the Trial of the Century! A year after his miraculous transformation, Ebenezer Scrooge is back to his old ways and is suing Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
